Betty Osborne, 77, of West Laurel Road, London, Ky., died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Saint Joseph Lexington. The daughter of the late Henry and Laura Wombles Couch, she was born July 11, 1930 in Leslie County, Ky. She was a member of West 80 Pentecostal Church in London and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, her great-grandson Lucas Blankenship and her granddaughter Bridgette Suzette Osborne. She is survived by her husband Isaac “Peanut” Osborne, of London; her sons Floyd Osborne and wife Lillie, Roy Lee Osborne and wife Elizabeth and Isaac Lee “Jake” Osborne and wife Shelia, all of London; her daughters Bonnie Johnson and husband Luster, of London, Marie Blankenship and husband Jimmy, of Paris, Ky., Mary Fee and husband Mike, of London, Wilma Osborne, of Lexington, Ky., and Laurettia Osborne and husband Gillis, of Corbin, Ky.; her brother Duke Couch, of Leslie County; her sister Luniey Gibson, of Bob Fork, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at noon Tuesday, March 18, at London Funeral Home’s chapel, with Rev. Keith Mclain, Rev. Roland Ayers and Rev. Wendell Bates officiating. Entombment will be at a later date at Isaac and Betty Osborne Family Cemetery in London. James Johnson, Shawn Osborne, Jeff Fee, Doug Blankenship, Anthony Osborne, Timothy McClure, Jeremy Fee, Roy Wayne Osborne, and Jason Fee are to serve as pallbearers.
