Kenneth Marvel, age 91, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Full Gospel Church in Roaring Springs. Interment will follow at the Roaring Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Kenneth was born June 18, 1929 in Hartman, Arkansas to Martin Luther and Sarah (Hurt) Marvel. He met and married Barbara Underwood and they enjoyed many happy years together. Kenneth was a man who took great pride in keeping his yard looking good and he loved to mow. He was a carpenter by trade and truly enjoyed life. Kenneth never met a stranger and loved visiting with everyone. Kenneth's children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
Those left to cherish Kenneth's memory are his wife, Barbara; his sons, Hubert "Bucky" Marvel (Karen) and Charlie Marvel; his daughters, Sarah Ross (Howard) and Mitzi Christopher (John); 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
