He was a Class of '79 graduate of Sidney High School and went on to receive his degree at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where he majored in English and History. He was most recently employed by Cabela's/Quad Graphics. His hobbies included Sidney/UNL history, movies and computers.
He is survived by: father, Leo (Elaine) Front Royal, VA; brother Marcus (Tammy) of Omaha, NE; sister Arlene (David) of Chadron, NE; step-sister Crystal Cline (George) Front Royal, VA and step-sister Cara Bogard (Mike) of Kearney, NE as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jay was preceded in death by his mother Dianne (Upthagrove) Brown and nephew Jeremy Barowsky. As what can only be explained as God's mysterious ways, his brother Ted Allen Noble, age 49 passed away the same morning in Holdrege, NE.
