Dianne was born December 14, 1942, during a World War II blackout drill, in Bertrand, Nebraska. She was the youngest of nine children born to Elmer and Myrtle Jane (Witters) Upthagrove. She received her education from Bertrand Public Schools.
In 1959, Dianne was united in marriage to Leo Marcus Noble and to this union four children were born: Jay, Marcus, Arlene and Ted. The family made their home in Sidney, Nebraska for many years. Dianne was dedicated to her family. She was later united in marriage to Donald E. Brown.
Dianne was a hard-working woman throughout her life; starting at age four, she would run errands for the Sandstrom Funeral Home and Furniture Store. In Holdrege, she worked at the movie theatre, the Phelps County Creamery, and Artistic Woven Labels. In Sidney, she worked at the Chicken House, Midwec Manufacturing Plant, and Cabela’s.
Dianne enjoyed traveling and camping. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3132 and the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Holdrege, and the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bertrand.
Dianne was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Don Brown; grandson, Jeremy Barowsky; and her siblings and their spouses.
She leaves to celebrate her life; her children: Jay Noble of Sidney; Marcus Noble and his wife, Tammy of Omaha, Nebraska; Arlene Didier and her husband, Dave of Chadron, Nebraska; and Ted Noble and his significant other, Angie of Holdrege; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Geraldine Heitman; along with many extended family and friends.
