Paul Blanton, 51, Orange Beach, Ala., died Thursday April 14, 1983 at home.

Born in Jackson, KY, he lived in Indianapolis, IN for 30 years.

He was president and owner of Paul Blanton Construction Co. and Indy Lumber Co. Inc., He had been in the construction industry in Indiana and Alabama for 30 years. He also was a partner in many condominium projects in Alabama.

Survivors include his mother, Hattie Blanton, five daughters, Pam McKain, Holly Breen, Dina Sullivan and Sheila and Paula Blanton, a son, Paul Blanton II.

Service were held at in Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel, Jackson, KY.
