VANCE, Bonnie Eloise Age 72, of Middletown, died Sunday April 24 surrounded by family after a failed bout with pneumonia.

She was born April 16, 1933 in Keck, Kentucky, the daughter of Blaine Blanton and Hattie (Hounshell) Blanton. Bonnie was active in the lives of all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, always devoted to her large family.

Bonnie is survived by her children Jim (wife, Donna) Vance of Napa, Calif., Beverly Warner of Middletown, Lori (husband, Dan) Meibers of Middletown; six grandchildren, Rachel Vance and Nathan Vance of Napa, Calif., Lindsay Ratliff (husband, Kevin), JD Hamel, Bonnie Rose Meibers and Hannah Meibers of Middletown; three great grandchildren, Kameron Ratliff, Meghan Ratliff and Emma Ratliff of Middletown; two brothers, Blaine (wife, Judy) Blanton, Jr. of Lebanon, Ind. and Gary (wife, Wanda) Blanton of Carmel, Ind.; two sisters, Betty Sebastian and Elizabeth Rose (husband, Arch) Stacy of Jackson, Ky. as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Vance; her parents, Blaine and Hattie Blanton; and her three brothers, Thomas Tilden Blanton, Harold Paul Blanton and David Windsor Blanton.

Visitation is being held at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Lefler Funeral Home in Middletown from 5:00 - 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 26. Funeral services will be held at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Ky. with Rev. Donald Ison officiating.

Burial will immediately follow in the Hounshell family cemetery in Keck, Ky. with the Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
