Abercrombie – Clyde Abercrombie age 91 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Hebron Baptist Church Chapel, with Rev. Larry Wynn officiating. Mr. Abercrombie will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was a carpenter and worked with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, and always enjoyed furthering his education. Mr. Abercrombie was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Addie Elrod Abercrombie; and son, James (Jimmie) Abercrombie. He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Abercrombie; daughter & son-in-law, Glenda & Richard Jackson, Lawrenceville; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, and many other family and friends.
