The wife of William Winwright Collins, Elizabeth Blaylock was born in Barnwell County, South Carolina on May 14, 1794. William and Elizabeth married around 1806 in Barnwell District, South Carolina. Elizabeth was the daughter of HARDIN BLAYLOCK and MASON LONG. William and Elizabeth lived in Barnwell County from 1808 to 1819 and then moved to Greene County, Alabama.

Elizabeth Blaylock - Collins left their Plantation on the Tombigbee River, Greene County, Alabama (now Hale County) on October 16, 1838, after the death of her husband William Winwright Collins.

The family moved to (then) Choctaw County, Mississippi, to a large tract of land (one mile east of Lodi,Mississippi), which was acquired before the death of her husband.

Elizabeth Blaylock Collins died on December 11, 1840, two years after leaving Alabama, leaving a 9 year old daughter, Elizabeth Collins, born September 7,1831, in Greene County, Alabama, without parents and she was raised by her sister, Mary Collins who was married to Richard Blaylock.

The burial location of Elizabeth's husband, William Winwright Collins is unknown. He died on January 8, 1838 in Greene Co. Ala.

46 years, 8 months, and 27 days old - Marker not located. May have been destroyed or otherwise removed. In addition, at the time of her death, there was no Montgomery County. It was part of Carroll and Choctaw County until 1871.
