Duroff "Duke" Ethridge, age 84, beloved son, brother and friend joined his loving Savior November 19, 2020 surrounded by the care giving sister Myra, niece, Lisa and Mark Fiffles; sister, Jeanett and George Bennett. He was the son of Chesstene and Dellar Ethridge of Adger, AL, graduated from Oak Grove High School and worked as a dedicated employee of Loveman's Department Store and Bruno's. Duke loved the Lord and served as a Deacon, Training Union Director, Choir member as well as other diversified duties of Prudes Creek Baptist Church, Brookwood, AL. Survivors include son, Jeffery Ethridge Morgan; sisters, Lynn Crumpton, Jeanett and George Bennett and Myra Dozier; brother, C.T. and Joan Ethridge, loving nieces and nephews. He was blessed with many wonderful friends, cousins and colleagues. Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Prudes Creek Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial following at Prudes Creek Cemetery in Brookwood, AL. Brother Ed Bearden will be officiating the service. Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home will be directing the service.
