Married to Anna Shoemaker May 5, 1796.
In his father Will of 1804 [probated 1806] he was left his grandfather's old gold watch.
According to a 1911 biography [Colonial Families of Philadelphia" Volume 1 which while it only reports a death year of 1804 [p.740] also has the following remark : "....He died while on a visit abroad..." . [p.741] However according to a record of his miniature portrait sent to his widow in 1806, it was made in 1805 just before he died in either Amsterdam, Holland or Paris France
They had several children:
1] Robert Morris b. March 24, 1797 "died young"
2] Elizabeth Anna {Morris] Malsan Cosgrove 1798-1870
3] MAry White [Morris] Wilkins 1800-1838
4] Robert Morris 1802-1891
5] Benjamin Shoemaker Morris b.Jan 8,1804 "died young"
