Obituary for James Tinker Coble
James Tinker Coble, 89, of Stigler, passed away at his home Wednesday, November 18, 2020. He was born December 27, 1930 to Bud Coble. & Dosia Pearson
Tinker grew up in Arizona and made his home in Oklahoma. He married Judy Floyd and they made their home in Stigler. He began a career with the State of Oklahoma Highway Department and retired after many years.
Tinker loved fishing, playing dominoes, going to church and visiting with friends and loved time spent with family. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Tinker is survived by his son, Stephen Coble of Broken Arrow; 3 grandchildren, Rachael & Kevin Fisk of Krebs, Stephen Coble Jr. of Broken Arrow and Bryanna Coble of Stigler; 2 great grandchildren, Kameron & Kylie Fisk of Krebs.
Tinker is preceded in death by his parents, Bud Coble & Dosia Pearson Coble; his wife Judy Coble; 2 sons, Greg & Bryan Coble; numerous siblings.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 20, 2020 at Antioch Cemetery with Reverend Tommie Parker officiating. Pallbearers include Kenny Kirkland, John Dock, David Buckner, Stephen Coble Jr., Kevin Fisk, & Marvin Nolen.
Burial will follow immediately under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
