WEST CRESCENT Grace M. Tremblay, 75, of West Crescent died suddenly on Monday, December 26, 2005 at her residence. She was born on June 12, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Stephan and Grayce Mullin Kubizne. She was a graduate of Troy High School and received her degree for labor management studies from Syracuse University. She retired in 1992 as the secretary to the principal of the Shenendehowa Koda Middle School, having worked for the District for 26 years. Earlier she had worked as a waitress for the Captains Table in Latham. She had also been the office manager for the Tremblay Plumbing and Heating in Cohoes. Grace was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Crescent and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 in Clifton Park. She was a member of the Clifton Park Elks BPOE 2466. Grace was a chief negotiator for the CSEA at Shenendehowa for secretaries and bus drivers. She was the beloved wife of Urbain J. Tremblay, to whom she married November 11, 1950; devoted mother of Tom (Kathy) Tremblay of Troy, Michael (Jane) Tremblay of Hingham, Mass., Tim (Karen) Tremblay of Halfmoon and Paulette Tremblay of Clifton Park; sister of William (Pauline) Kubizne of Latham and the late James and Jack Kubizne; cherished grandmother of Gregory, Melissa, Tasha, Michael Jr., Joseph, Heather, Chuck, Stefanie, Caitlin, Danielle, Max, Andrew and Bradd. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:15 from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park, thence to St. Mary's Church in Crescent where at 10:00 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mended Hearts at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
