Mrs. Thomas Bayley, aged 69 years, a former resident of Audenried, died Sunday night at 11:40 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert C. Fox, 334 Washington street, West Pittston, following a two weeks' illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Bayley had been making her home with her daughter since May 10th of this year. Her husband, Thomas A. Bayley, passed away on February 1st of this year. She was a member of the Audenried Methodist Episcopal church and the Spring Mt. Council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty at Audenried. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Robert C. Fox, of West Pittston; William, Clyde and Alvin, of this city, and Lamarr, of West Hazleton; one sister, Mrs.John Crouse, of this city, and two brothers, Ambrose Minick, of this city, and John Minick, of Milnesville. A brief service was held at the Fox residence last evening at 8 o'clock by Rev. F.W. Connell, of the West Pittston M.E. church. The remains were removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. John Crouse, 615 Alter street, Hazleton, this afternoon, where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Derstine of the Audenried M.E. church on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with interment following in the Vine street cemetery.
