Wilma (Jane) Brown, 86, of Montezuma, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 4:15 pm at Clinton Gardens.
She was born in Newport, Indiana, on July 3, 1934, to Ralph and Mary Adams.
She was the owner of Jane’s Antiques and was a Mary Kay consultant. She also worked at the Nutrition Center in Montezuma.
Wilma was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years and she belonged to the Red Hat Society. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting drawings and sketches. She also was a talented piano player.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Arthur Brown II; 4 sisters, Betty Workman, Barbara Slattery, Dorothy Frink, and Ruth Cave.
Survivors include her son, Roger (Tammy) Brown; her daughter, Connie (Bill) Johnston of Tangier; 5 grandchildren, Chad (Amber) Brown, Matt (Jessica) Brown, Rebecca Eggleston, Aaron (Lacey) Eggleston, and Matthew Johnston; 6 great-grandchildren, David, Adelyn, and Jaxon Brown, and Waylen, Aubrey, and Emma Eggleston; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11 am at Oakland Cemetery Chapel in Montezuma
