HERBERT KENNETH BOYNTON, SR. Passed away January 5, 2007 at Eden Hospital. Herbert was born in Oakland, CA and attended schools there as well. He served in the US Army and on his return to Windsor, CA he married Emma Delores Boynton on Sept. 7, 1945. They were married for 61 years and resided in San Leandro. Herbert had two sons, Herbert Kenneth Boynton, Jr. and John Charles Boynton. He is survived by his beloved wife, Emma Dolores Boynton of San Leandro, loving sons Herbert K. Boynton, Jr. and wife Rosemary of Tracy and John C. Boynton and wife Mary Jane of Nebraska, grandchildren, Rosemarie Boynton, Bonnie/Tyrrel, Kenneth L. Boynton, Melanie and Darin Alvarnaz all from Manteca, great-grandchildren, Kenneth Robert, Jr. and Brandon Lawrence Boynton. Herbert loved dancing and rides with his wife Dolores to Reno and Tahoe. They loved to walk hand and hand. A native of Oakland, CA, aged 89 years. Private Family services will be held. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary 510.581.0900.
