Cornelia Ruth (Andros) Delap was the daughter of Stephen and Lovinia (Porter) Andros/Andrews. She was the 2nd wife of Rev. Ambrose Corkin Delap. They were married May 2, 1833. Rev. Delap was a minister in the Wesleyan Methodist Church. He died in 1893.
