Rev. Ambrose Corkin Delap was the son of Joseph and Abiah (Kibbe) Delap. Lovinia (Andros) Delap was his 1st wife. They were married December 1826. Lovina died October 1832. Cornelia Ruth (Andros) Delap was his 2nd wife. They were married May 2, 1833. Cornelia died in 1893. Rev. Delap was a minister in the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Utica, New York June 7,1843. He was ordained by Rev. Orange Scott. He registered his ordination in Green Co., Wisconsin August 17, 1847. Ref. Delap died at Point Bluff, Wisconsin.
