Bowling Green, KY - Maj. William A. Obenchain of Ogden college, in this city received a telegram today announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Laura Obenchain Flint, wife of George B. Flint, which occurred this morning at her home in Anniston, Ala. She was born in Wytheville, Va. where the body will be taken for interment.
She had often visited her brother in this city, where she was well known.
Besides a husband, she leaves two brothers, Major Obenchain of this city, Capt. Frances E. Obenchain of New York, and four sisters, Mesdames Z. T. Atkins of Marion, Va., Nat Dickinson of Castlewood, Russell County, Va., and Misses Sallie and Carrie Obenchain of Wytheville, Va.

Wytheville, Virginia December 22 - Miss Lura Barden Obenchain was married this evening at 6 o'clock at her home to Mr. George Barstow Flint, of Anniston, Ala., in the presence of a number of friends. The ceremony of performed by Rev. Dr. M. P. Logan, dean of the Convocation of Southwest Virginia.
The bride was dressed in white organdy over silk. The attendants were her sister, Miss Alice V. Obenchain with Mr. Charles W. Browning.
A sumptuous supper was served and Mr. and Mrs. Flint took a night train for a Southern wedding trip. They will live in Anniston. The house was prettily decorated in holly, mistletoe, chrysanthemums and ferns.
