On January 5, 1952, Margaret Spritzer was united in Holy Matrimony to her high school sweetheart, James N. Ryan. They were blessed with seven children,
Margaret is survived by her seven children, Kerry (Terry) Shay of Aurora, Michael (Margaret Fallon) of Chatham, MA, Kristy (Peter) Wulff of Sugar Grove, Kathy (Bob) Healy of Aurora, Colleen (Ned) Davies of Crystal Lake, Martha (Greg) Dorfler of Geneva and Robbie (Ted) King of Aurora; 14 grandchildren, Katie, Sarah & Michael Shay, Lucy Ryan, Ben Cary & Andy Healy, Ned, Max, & Will Davies, Colleen and Shannon Dorfler, and Henry and Oliver King; his sister, Mary Ann Hirth of Elkhorn, WI; his brother, Thomas (Pat) Ryan of Oswego; his sister-in-law, Ann Jean Wilson of St. Charles; his brother-in-law, Robert Spritzer of Emeryville, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Susan and Robert Spritzer; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Hirth, and Ralph Wilson.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora at 10 AM to Holy Angels Church at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 23, 2004, with Father Martin Heinz officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 2 PM.
