born to Rbt and SusanRobert E. Spritzer, Jr., 75 of Oakland, CA, formerly of Aurora, was born into eternal life on February 9, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born on May 5, 1933 to Susan and Robert Spritzer of Aurora, IL.

He attended Holy Angels Grade School and Marmion Military Academy. Bob then served in the U.S. Navy Reserves at the Great Lakes Naval Station.He graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago with a degree in pharmacology.

Bob was employed by Bur-Han Drugs in downtown Aurora.He later relocated to San Francisco, CA and worked as a pharmacist at Merritt and Summit Hospitals and Mike's Pharmacy in Oakland, CA.

Bob is survived by two sisters, Ann Jean Wilson of St. Charles and Margaret Ryan of Aurora; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Ralph Wilson and James Ryan, and Leslie Wilson, wife of his nephew, Douglas Wilson.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date to be announced.
