Koger A. Smoak, 94, of Fort Wayne, a retired salesman, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, at Lutheran Hospital.
The Denmark, S.C., native retired in 1973 from Joslyn Stainless Steel. He was a member of South Wayne Baptist Church, Home Masonic Lodge, Mizpah Shrine, Scottish Rite and past governor of Loyal Order of Moose. He was a U. S. Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Mary; and a brother, James B. of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by four sisters. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8404 Covington Road, with calling one hour before services and also from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens.
