Barbara J. Smith of Mace passed away on November 4, 2020. Barb was born to Merlin and Milderd (Garrigus) Harvey on July 22nd 1933 in Rockville Indiana.

Barbara married Charles R. 'Bob" Smith on December 7, 1949.

Barbara's love for the Lord showed through her fellowship of 60 plus years at Wesleyan Methodist Church (Sonlight) in Crawfordsville Indiana.

Preceded in death by her husband of 65 plus years, Charles R. Smith, son Charles R "Charlie" Smith Jr., daughter, Jeanette S. Newlin, and sister, Carol (Harvey) Bartlett.

Survivors include Roy (Cindy) Smith, Sharon (Brian) Sillery, son-in-law Mike Newlin, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Family and Friends can pay their respects Saturday at Burkhart Funeral Home, in Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home directly after the viewing, led by Pastor Keith and Dennis Jones. Burial will follow at Mace Cemetery.
