CHESAPEAKE--Alexander Cuffee, 80, of Route 5, died Monday in his home after a short illness.
A native of Norfolk County, he was a son of the late John and Mrs. Georgia Ann Cuffee and the husband of Mrs. Ophelia Cuffee.
He was a former organist of Gabriel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church and a member of Good Samaritan Lodge.
Besides his widow, surviving are two sons, Linwood Cuffee and Samuel Cuffee of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in Gabriel Chapel Church. Burial will be in Weeping Mary Cemetery with Humphries Funeral Home in charge.
