Rites Thursday For Mrs. Davis
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. from the Thompsonville Methodist church for Mrs. Jeff Davis who died at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Holmes Community Hospital.
The Rev. H. C. Newman will conduct the services with burial to take place in the Thompsonville cemetery under the direction of Seydler-Hill funeral home.
Mrs. Davis was born in Texas on December 12, 1900, the daughter of Albert and Nettie Johnson Brown. She was married on December 16, 1919, to Jeff Davis. She was a member of the Thompsonville Methodist church.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Arlene) Wilder of Austin; Mrs. G. L. (Muriel) Jamison of Arlington; three sons, Winston of Shiner, Wayne of Harwood, and John Davis of Pasadena; 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Hill of Blanco, and Mrs. Winnie Mason of Conroe.
