Mendy Joiner, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, after a brief illness. Private Graveside Services will be held next week, and the family will contact those to be in attendance. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to be made to Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, P. O. Box 52, Perry, GA 31069, to help with the funeral expenses.
Mendy was born the oldest of four children to the late Walter Dennis Joiner and the late Mary Ann Bivins Thompson. She enjoyed working in the insurance industry, as she did for many years as an Insurance Adjuster for Geico. She spent the last year of her career with AFLAC as a Benefits Specialist. She was a kind and loving lady who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she adored. She savored moments spent at the beach where she felt such peace. Mendy loved many and was loved by so many. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Caroline Miller of Perry, Georgia; her son, Christopher Miller of Perry, Florida; her grandchildren, Gavin, Crosby, and Claire; her sisters, Lisa Price (George) of Oklahoma, Kaykay Joiner Maddox and Kendale Joiner Wilson (Brian), both of Perry; several nieces and nephews; her Aunt Earlene Chapman (Tim) of Byron; several other aunts and uncles; her cousin, Phillis Ballew of Ft. Valley; and many other cousins.
