Larry was born on February 13, 1950 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY to the late Coolidge and Mary Ruth Spears Humphrey. He was a Vietnam veteran having served during Vietnam and was a self employed electrician.

One Son- Keith Humphrey(Sheena) of Hiseville, KY

Four Brothers- Alan Humphrey(Jody), Dana Humphrey(Donna), Kenneth Humphrey, Kevin Humphrey all of Burkesville, KY
