Born November 14, 1938 to the late Andrew and Mary (Troyer) Yutzy, Ada was preceded in death by Joseph, her husband of fifty-five years, son Bryan and sister Fannie (Bill) Helmuth.
Ada is survived by children Jeffrey (Jodi) Beachy, Michael (Denise) Beachy, Monica (Brian) Milovich, Steven (Jenny) Beachy and by grandchildren Cassandra, Paige, Nicholas and Cassidy Beachy and by brother Marvin (Betty) Yutzy.
Ada was a longtime member of United Bethel Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker until her children were raised, after which she worked at Richwood Bank. She later started a successful noodle-making business which she operated together with her husband for many years.
Ada will be remembered for her exquisite cooking and baking skills; her love language was sharing pies, cakes, jams and other delicious foods with family and friends. She was a talented seamstress, making many beautiful items for herself and others, including blankets and dolls to donate to local hospitals. She made many gorgeous quilts to gift to family, friends and charitable causes. Ada read voraciously and was always happy playing cards and games with family and friends, including her fellow residents at Edgewater. We will miss her keen intelligence, her sound advice and her positive attitude. Her mischievous smile betrayed a wonderful sense of humor which we will fondly remember.
Due to COVID precautions, the funeral service will be limited to invited family only. All other family and friends may follow the funeral via live-stream starting at 10am Saturday, October 31 by accessing the website: www.unitedbethel.com
