Carroll Eugene "Buck" Addy, 93, of St. Marys died Wednesday (May 20, 2020) at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Addy was born in Leesville, South Carolina to the late Carroll Eugene Addy, Sr. and Nezzie Gertrude Hendrix Addy and made St. Marys his home for most of his life. He is known for being a tough man with a soft heart and for also owning/operating one of the longest running businesses in St. Marys at Addys Tire Center which has been in operation since 1954. He was one of the first men to install televisions in South Georgia and enjoyed horses and loved spending time on the farm.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by seven siblings, Frances Rawl, Rae Arnold, Dick Addy, Anna Laura "Toots" Martin, Donald "Bill" Addy, Edeline Willis and Temp Strickland.

Mr. Addy is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Louise Addy of St. Marys; four children, Carol Jones husband Jeff of Kingsland, Deborah Pecchio husband Don of Kingsland, Stanley E. Addy of St. Marys, Sandra Lucent husband Joe of St. Marys; five grandchildren, Jennifer Jones Rouse husband Brent, Jamie Jones Mccormick husband Grant, Alex Addy, Spencer Addy wife Megan, Brandi Bennett; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Risinger; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Saturday (May 23, 2020) at 3:00pm at High Bluff Cemetery in Hoboken, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1220 Cedar Grove Road, Leesville, SC, 29070 or Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
