nnie Laura Martin SALUDA - Annie Laura Addy Martin, 92, died Friday, June 12, 2015, in Saluda Nursing Center. Born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Carroll Eugene and Nezzie Gertrude Hendrix Addy, she was the wife of the late James C. Martin. During World War II she became a welder to help with the war effort. She later helped her husband manage Martin's Grocery Store and was a homemaker. Mrs. Martin was a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Martin is survived by a daughter and son in-law, Susan and Gene Trotter of Saluda, a brother, Carroll E. Addy, a sister, Patricia Risinger, four grandchildren, Matthew Trotter (Leigh), Michael Trotter (Jessica), Britt Trotter and Mary Beth Schumpert (Will) and four great-grandchildren, Harley, McKlain, Westin and Addy Grace. A graveside service will be held 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Travis Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Glander officiating. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.rameyfuneralhome.com.
