Adam J. Gacioch, 89, of Rossi Avenue, Pawcatuck, passed away at his home on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. He was the husband of the late Marie (D'Aluisio) Gacioch.
Born in Richmond, he was the son of the late Szczepan J. and Antonia Gacioch.
Adam was employed as a carpenter for Harris Graphics for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who had a love of gardening and woodworking.
He is survived by his son, Frank Garafola Jr., of Florida; a daughter, Carla Garafola Cole, of Rogersville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Adam was predeceased by seven siblings, Stephen and Chester Gacioch, Helen Sherman, Katharine Turano, Carol Sposato, Mary Pavelski and Sophie Pompie.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly.
