SuEllen Irene (Lichlytler) Voris, age 75, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her residence. Born September 12, 1945 in Madison, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Irene (Richter) Lichlyter.

Mrs. Voris was a 1964 graduate of Madison High School and member of First Baptist Church. She also held memberships in the Madison Pilot Club, Hanover Chapter Order of Eastern Star
#525, and the Daughters’ of the American Revolution. She enjoyed rescuing animals, birdwatching, genealogy and traveling around the United States.

She retired as an accountant with the Madison State Hospital and after retirement, volunteered for the J.F.D. Lanier Home, the Madison Visitors Center and the King’s Daughters’ Hospital Medical Records Department.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law: Laurel and Richard Wahl of Madison; one son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Peggy Voris of Madison; six grandchildren: Christian Wahl and his companion, Lauren Paige Quiggle of Madison, Alexis Wahl of Tampa, Florida, Sebastian Wahl and Matthew Wahl of Madison, Laura Lattimore of Speedway, Indiana and Josh Voris of Alexandria, Indiana; two step-grandchildren: Samantha Boggs and Ryan McFadden, both of Madison; five great-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Leonard Lichlyter, Lloyd Lichlyter and Floyd Lichlytler; and one nephew, Roland Lichlyter.
