Madison--Nathan C. Lichlyter, 85, died Monday at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was founder and retired owner of Lichlyter Buildng Supply and Contracting Co. and a former member of the Madison City Council. He helped organize and was first president of the Kent Water co. and a member of Nevill's Grove Association and Redman Lodge.
Survivors: his wife, the former Freda O'Neal; a daughter, Suellen Voris of Hanover; two sons, Floyd Lichlyter of Milton, Ky., and Leonard Lichlyter of Hanover; two stepdaughters, Shirley Roseberry and Emmedean Zapp; a stepson, Richard O'Neal of Atlanta; a brother, Dwight Lichlyter; 20 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Calvary Baptist Church. Burial: Springdale Cemetery. Lytle-Gans-Andrew Funeral Home.
