Funeral services for Mrs. Myrrah Bond Montague of Itta Bena will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the First Baptist Church in Itta Bena with the Rev. Otis Seals, Assisted by the Rev. C. E. Burden, officiating.

Burial will be in the Old Plank Church Cemetery near Vaiden with Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The body will rest in state at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martin Aldridge, of Itta Bena until time for services.

Mrs. Montague, who was 87, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aldridge, following a long illness.

She was a native of Montgomery County and had made her home in Itta Bena with her daughter since 1931. She was a former resident of Greenwood. She was a member of the Itta Bena First Baptist Church and was the widow of the late T. J. Montague, who was a farmer.

Mrs. Montague is survived by three daughters, including Mrs. Aldridge; Mrs. Ward Burchfield, Itta Bena, and Mrs. Everett Hughes of Itta Bena; one son, Troy Montague of Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Braswell of Oak Grove, La., and Mrs. Maudie Barrett of Macon, Tenn.; one brother, B. O. Bond of Greenwood; two half-sisters, Mrs. Percy Moore of Winona and Mrs. Pearl Houston of Memphis; one half-brother, Clyde Bond of Cruger; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be W. J. Killebrew, Glynn Montague, James Reeves, Edward Montague, G. N. Cooper, and Charles (Buck) Reeves.
