Joseph Dudley Allen, age 97, of Miami passed away August 5, 2014. He was born December 23, 1916, in Miami, Arizona. The son of Vera Chesley and Price W. Allen. Joe served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He retired from Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company in 1976 after 30 years' service.
He leaves behind one sister Sylvia Campbell, two nieces, Linda Wheeler, and Diana Hincha, and many others.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alma Smithson Allen, his father Price William, mother; Vera Chesley Allen, 4 sisters; Nina Reed, Grace Echols, Velda Adams, Melissa Boyington, and 5 brothers; Albert Allen, Price Alex Allen, James Allen, Ethan Allen, Chesley Allen.
Our Uncle Dudley was very entertaining, with lots of stories to tell and fun to be with. We love him and will miss him.
He was a resident of Copper Mountain Inn.
