Haskell E. Bohanan, of Bethel, passed from this life October 18, 2020 in Bethel.
Haskell was born in Bethel on May 28, 1946, to Earl Andrew and Betsy (Bond) Bohanan.
Hack, as some knew him, was affiliated with Kulli Chito Presbyterian Church, Bethel, and had lived in Bethel all of his life.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing horseshoes with his family, playing solitaire, and being with his grandkids. Hack also loved working crossword puzzles.
He married Ella Taylor on October 5, 1994 in Antlers but they met in Cooper, TX, in 1974.
Haskell was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Betsy Bohanan; brother, Emmett Jefferson; sisters-in-law, Louise Jefferson and Ruthie Jefferson; brother-in-law, Elton Baker; son-in-law, Billy Noah; daughter-in-law, Beatrice Bohanan; granddaughters, Terry Lynn Bohanan and Stephanie Nicole Bohanan; and great-grandchildren, Chasley Holt and Jayden Martinez.
Haskell leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Ella, of the home; children, Dana Bohanan, and Raylene, of Denison, TX, Angela Noah, of Houston, TX, Daniel Bohanan, and Amanda, of Paris, TX, David Bohanan, of Houston, Bobby Bohanan, of Hamilton, TX, Stevie Bohanan, and Deborah, of Valliant, Tammy Arnold, of Paris, and Terrie Lane, of Hugo;
Siblings, Jimmy Jefferson, of Bethel, and Josephine Baker, of Idabel; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives.
