Earl Andrew Bohanan, 54, Bethel, died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.

Born Nov. 1, 1926 in Honobia, he had lived in northern McCurtain County all of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son, Haskell Bohanan of Bethel; two step sons, Jimmy Jefferson of Bethel and Emmett Jefferson of Paris, Texas; one step daughter, Josephine Baker of Bethel; three brothers, Isaac of Paris, Robert of Wright City, and Cicero of Ada; 25 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kullichito Indian Presbyterian Church, north of Bethel, with the Rev. Eli Samuel officiating.

Arrangements and burial in the Kullichito Cemetery are under the direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
