Mabel G. (Heaton) (Knott) Ansell, 88 years, died Friday, February 2, 2007, in the loving care of Sunshine Home Care in Spring Hill, Florida.

She was born in Orviston, Pennsylvania, and moved to Brooksville, Florida, 25 years ago from Perry, Ohio.

Mrs. Ansell was a Parker Hannifin retiree and a homemaker.

She attended Centralia New Life Baptist Church in Brooksville, Florida.

Embroidery was her hobby.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles Heaton, Roy Heaton, Wilbur Heaton, John Heaton and Paul Heaton, her husband, Roy Knott, her husband, Earl K. Ansell; two sons, Ervin LeRoy Knott and David K. Ansell; and great-great-grand-daughter, C. J. Owens.

Mrs. Ansell was the eldest member of five generations.

Survivors include daughter, Linna B. and husband the Rev. Marvin Blevins of Brooksville, Florida; daughter-in-law, Ramona Knott of Wheatland, Wyoming; daughter, Judith and husband Bud Hutson of Rescue, Virginia; daughter, Wendy and husband Bob Jones of Jefferson, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Diane Ansell of Painesville, Ohio; son, Paul Ansell and wife Carol of Leroy, Ohio; as well as 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren and 15 nieces and nephews. Many, many other relatives and numerous friends will also mourn her passing.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hopewell United Presbyterian Church, Acklin Burial Park, Centralia New Life Baptist Church will be respectively forwarded.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate her life will take place Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at 2 p.m. in the HOPEWELL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH at 400 Hopewell Road in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. The Rev. Marvin Blevins, her son-in-law, will officiate.

Interment will follow in Acklin Burial Park, Hopewell Road, Brownsville, Pa.
