He always felt lucky to have been raised in Sevier Valley where he was able to spend his whole life working with his father and grandfather raising cattle and sheep. He was a loving husband and father and adored his two kids. He enjoyed riding his horse, 4-wheelers, mud bogging and spending time with good friends and family. He served three terms as Sigurd Town Fire Chief, and at the time of his death was the Sigurd Town Mayor.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 25th 2007 at 11 AM in the Sigurd Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Friends attended a Viewing at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Monday Evening from 6-8 PM and at the Ward Chapel in Sigurd on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM Prior To The Services.
