Edward H. Pardieck, 85, of Indianapolis died Sunday at the hospital at Seymour after a 2- week illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m Tuesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Jonesville, conducted by the Rev. J. David Wende. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Persons may call until noon Tuesday at the Burkholder funeral home at Seymour, and from 12:30 p.m until time of service at the church.
Pardieck was born September 19, 1888 in Jackson Co., to Chris and Mary Dringenburg Pardieck. He had resided in Indianapolis the past six years before returning to Seymour two weeks ago.
On July 8, 1918 at Jonesville he married Lydia Nentrup, who survives; also surviving are nine neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by one child, three brothers and three sisters.
He was a member of the St. Paul church, a veteran of the first World War, member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foriegn Wars.
