REYNOLDS, Pearl Akers 87, of Springfield went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday December 3, 2013. She was born March 19, 1926 in Ulysses, Kentucky, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Borders) Castle.

Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed cooking and crocheting, and her family was her life. She had worked at Ridgewood Nursing Home, Lords Dress Shop, and she sold Avon.

Survivors include daughter, Judy (Akers) Roth of Fairborn; grandchildren, Parrish Akers, Michelle "Missy" (Michael) Owens, Stephanie Husband, Robin (William) Good, Woodrow (Cindy) Akers, Judy (Dale) Coleman, Angelie Moore, and Ronald (Jessica) Akers II; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Woodrow Akers and Melvin Reynolds; son, Ronald Charles Akers; her parents; and brother, Charles J. Castle.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday in the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
