Graveside services for R.B. Rushing were held Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at 10 a.m. from Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services. The Rev. John Stephens and the Rev. Charles Barnett officiated.
Mr. Rushing, of Tulsa, Okla., died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Suvivors include one son, Jerry Rushing of McAlester, Okla.; three granchildren; four sisters, Beatrice Hall of Tyler, Texas, Georgia Ruth Belk and Lavinia Jolly, both of Philadelphia, and Virginia Conn of Pelahatchie; and two brothers, A.V. Rushing and O.C. Rushing, both of Philadelphia.
