O C Rushing
Services for O C Rushing were held Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Savell officiated.
Burial followed in Sand Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Rushing, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, in Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and was a retired heavy truck mechanic.
Mr. Rushing was a member of Old Pearl Valley Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Survivors include his wife, Macie Rushing;
daughter, Betty R. Nicholson;
son, Terry M. Rushing, all of Philadelphia;
three grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren;
sisters, Virginia Conn of Pelahatchie, and Lavenia Jolly of Philadelphia and brother, A V Rushing of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers were Johnny Ridout, Rodger Reynolds, Chuck Coleman, Johnny Coleman, Terry Nowell, Jimmy Rushing, Luke Gray, Scotty Vowell, Claudie Nicholson and Tim Nowell.
