Marvin R Cook 1932 ~ 2007 Marvin R Cook, 75, of Highland, died September 17, 2007 in the American Fork Hospital. Born May 14, 1932 in LaPoint, Utah the son of Ronald and Evadean Wilson Cook. He married Mern Ross on March 16, 1950 in Coalville, Utah, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Marvin's family always came first, he was a great father, husband, grandfather, and a tease. He was a very service oriented person and a great handyman. Survivors include his wife Mern, son Brent (Jackie) Cook; daughters Carla (Stephen) Zimmerman; Kathy Calahan; 27 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, David (Connie) Cook, Ronald Cook, Jolene Pearson, Judy Leek. Preceded in death by his two children Sherrie Curtis (Loren Michael), and Blaine Cook (Velina). Funeral services will be held Monday September 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Strasburg Chapel, 6000 West 10400 North, Highland, Utah. Friends may call Sunday September 23, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Strasburg Chapel and again at the church on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary.
