Sally F. "Mama Sally" Moore, 84, Longboat Key, died April 24, 1992.
She was born Aug. 29, 1907 in Cortez and was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. She was a member of the Cortez Church of Christ. She was a daughter of Captain Billy Fulford, one of the pioneers of the Cortez fishing village.
Survivors include a daughter, Gwendolyn Moore "Polly" Senseman of Cortez; a son Pete of Longboat Key; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 am Monday at Brown and Sons Funeral home with burial at Palma Sola.
