Lelah loved to fish, she and her good friend Willie would put on their big straw hats and walk down to Paris Lake to go fishing.
She had grapevines in her yard and would make her own grape jelly. At one time she cooked in the café at the sale barn which King ran, and she could cook the best hamburgers. Her biscuits and gravy were great too.
