MRS. A. J. STROYICK DIES
PICHER, Dec. 10.— Mrs. Andrew J. Stroyick, 72 years old, died at 6 o'clock this morning at her home, in Hockerville as a result of illness due to heart disease.

Besides the husband, surviving are three sons, Ira Qualls, Arthur Qualls and Fred Qualls, all of Galena, Kas.; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Medley and Mrs. Nora Barrett, both of Hockerville; five sisters, Mrs. Ed Meredith of Baxter Springs, Mrs. Tiny Hermit of Picher, Mrs. Harriett Osborn of Webb City, Mo., Mrs. Josie Titus of Galena, Kas., and Mrs. Ollie Miller of Kansas City and one brother, Sam Holly of Boyton, Okla.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Holiness church in Galena at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in the Galena cemetery under direction of the Todd Undertaking company.

Biographical Notes:
"Vade" Qualls married A. J. Stroyick, native of Pennsylvania, on August 28, 1900, in Carthage, Jasper County, Missouri. His full name was Andrew Jackson Stroyick. Andrew died on August 26, 1933, in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. It is not known at this time where he is buried.

Andrew had been married 3 times. The first marriage was to Rebecca Jane Hobbs, on February 6, 1881, in Jefferson County, Illinois. Rebecca died on September 9, 1888, and is buried in Mound Cemetery in Crestline, Kansas.

His second marriage was to "Delia" Williams, on February 3, 1889, in Cherokee County, Kansas, but that marriage did not last.

His final marriage was to Sarah Nevada Hawley Qualls in 1900.

It is thought that some of the children noted in Sarah's obituary may have been step-children.
