ALBERT BASTON, 58, a Newport resident for 14 years and an employee of General Electric Co., Evendale, for 31 years, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital.
He leaves his wife, Jean; three daughters, Margo Smith and Deonna Smith, both of Anderson, Ind., and Coleen Baston, at home; four sons, Terry Baston, of California, Randy Baston, of Bellevue, Scott Baston, at home, and Jeff Baston, at home; a sister, Zella Mae Wise, of Florida; two brothers, Ray Baston, St. Bernard, and Roy T. Baston, Lexington, adn 16 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at A.C. Dobbling & Son Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, with burial in St Stephen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Research Fund.
