She was a member of Brandon's Chapel Baptist Church. As a young woman she worked for many years at A&P Grocery and Battle Foods. She was very involved in her Woodman of the World activities. She was acting choir director at Macedonia Baptist Church for 30 years, where she also led the youth and taught Sunday School. She was predeceased by her parents; all of her siblings; husband of 38 years, Willie Tidwell; and granddaughter, Chelcie Hiers. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Alvin) Reynolds, Mark (Linda) Butler and Carla (Steven) Rutledge; grandchildren, Wesley (Lori Beth) Stubbs, Blake (Tabitha) Stubbs, Devon Stubbs, Garrett Rutledge, Tara Butler and Boedie Butler; great grandchildren, Kadence, Grady, Paisley and Scout Stubbs.
