She is survived by one daughter, Linda Joanne Lee of Conway. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Horton; brothers, Leland Rudolph (infant), Odell, Othello, Burl, and Aubrey; and sisters, Mabel Turner, Jewell Rinehart, Ethel Rinehart, Pauline Younger, and Eunice Hall.
She retired from Levi Strauss after 42 years of employment. She enjoyed her travels as a union rep with Levi’s and made many friends.
Madeline loved spending time with her family and she was a special daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with service immediately following, with Bro. John Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Edlin Cemetery on Stony Point Road in Perry County. Pallbearers will be Larry Atkinson, Rommie Atkinson, Ron Atkinson, Matt Shapter, Steve Rutherford, and Buddy Mabry.
