In 1891 she was 14 living at Uxbridge Street, Hednesford, her father a coal miner.
Clara Jones 23, the daughter of Richard Jones and Mary Ann married Frank Adams, when he was 25 years old at on 25 Dec 1899 at Hednesford. She had been born at Heath Town Wolverhampton in 1876.
1901 Clara was with her husband Frank, living with her father and their young son, Robert Richard Adams, her husband was a 'Groom at Training Stables' (this was probably at the Coulthwaite's training stables at Hazel Slade)
Her husband Frank died aged 32 years leaving his effects of £332 9s 10d to his widow Clara - £332 in 1907 is worth £40,201.79 today 2020.

Clara Adams married Stephen Dunning a retired Butcher, at St. Peter's in the middle of 1930, but died only months later in October 1930 aged 55 years. Probate Date: 24 Dec 1930. They had been living at 110 Church Hill, Hednesford, and left her effects of £66 7s 3d to her new husband, £66 in 1930 is worth £4,342.43 today 2020. She was then buried with her first husband Frank Adams.
